The SCS Spring Meeting will be postponed to autumn.

Again a lot of interessting topics were adressed during the meeting. Find in the Member Area a summary note of the Borad member and SCS – ESCCA ambassador Bijan Moshaver.

The 2nd Swiss Cytometry Meeting will take place in Lausanne at the SwissTech Convention Center, from the 5th to the 7th of February 2020. Abstract submission is now open. You can find the program here.

The SCS Spring Meeting took place under the topic “Primary Immunodeficiencies, Hematological & Immunological Pitfalls” and was well attended. There was also a lot to discuss and vote for in the General Assembly block. The new SCS President Jan Dirks was unanimously confirmed for his election. A further announcement on this topic will follow shortly. We thank all participating and the organizers for the successful and informative meeting.

At the general assembly as part of the Spring Meeting 2017 new board members were elected.

• Michaela Fux, PhD (Inselspital Bern) – as treasurer
• Ulrike Bacher, MD (Inselspital Bern) – as board member
• Hana Glier, PhD (Kantonsspital Aarau) – as board member

In return Luca Bernasconi (treasurer) and Kornelius Arn (board member) resign from the board. The president thanks Luca and Kornelius for their contribution to the SCS.
